Hello, I’m Molly Lou!

I have been photographing weddings professionally since 2012.

Lucky me has gotten to go all over the world documenting love stories, and I am so grateful to the hundreds of couples who have put their faith in me.

My approach to a wedding day is simple:

You make the memories, I take the photos.

I prefer to work with folks who appreciate my approach that is not unlike a nature photographer: I scope out the lighting and scene and then wait for the moment to happen. I love guiding and placing my subjects in the right place to capture the vision in my head. I also love the parts of the day where it’s a true fly-on-the-wall approach- leaving everything to fate and chance.

I spend the day focusing on capturing the event as it would be transpiring with or without me there- hoping the day feels less like a photoshoot and instead - an event unfolding in a natural progression.

I of course will still capture all the posed formals you expect, but prefer to let the light and flow of the day guide us there rather than forcing a harsh timeline. The day itself, and your memories being made should be first, photos second.

I also truly do consider myself an artist within my photography as well - being both a technical nerd and perfectionist with lighting and settings, but laid back and relaxed in the moment. I take composition and finding the best natural lighting very seriously - always wanting to push myself and create new images that make my heart sing.
